Supporting the Festival
The Swaledale Festival is more successful than many comparable music festivals in generating most of its income from sales of tickets. As a non-profit organisation it has to steer a fine line, every year, between breaking even, adding a surplus (which must not be too large) to its rainy-day fund, and making a loss. In these difficult times, the withdrawal of even a small amount of public-sector funding could push the Festival into loss - and several years of loss could quickly exhaust the Festival's reserves.
We invite you to join our supporters, in one or more of these ways, and discover the rewards of an even closer association with the Swaledale Festival.
